director's notes
The authors of the horror novels I love are readers of Ray Bradbury, the science fiction/horror Titan that gave birth to so many of our modern fiction writing gods. His use of imagery, language, and insight into human nature gave us The Martian Chronicles, Fahrenheit 451, Something Wicked This Way Comes, and many more. It’s no accident that our charity for this show is SCV Education Foundation and their Page Turners program, providing under represented families and teens with books in their homes. Books that spark imagination, open new worlds, and perhaps even give us another Ray Bradbury.

CAST
Tristan Peterson
WILL HALLOWAY
Tristan is an imaginative 11-year-old 6th grader at Highlands Elementary who thrives on creativity. He enjoys building Lego creations, playing Oculus with friends, running, making backyard movies, and sketching “Five Nights at Freddy” characters. Recently Tristan discovered his passion for theatre, performing in the ensemble of Oliver at Escape Theatre, where he was featured as the Bookseller and runner-up for the lead role. His growth this past year has been incredible, and his family is so proud of him.
Nicholas Maul
JIM NIGHTSHADE
Nicholas has always been fascinated with the horror and thriller genre, so playing Jim in this dark and wicked production is a dream come true! On stage since he was five, his credits include: Clue, Baskerville, Seussical, 101 Dalmatians, The Little Mermaid, Annie, Frozen (playing, of course, the villain – Hans), and had the audience in stitches in Mmmmbeth at the Santa Clarita Shakespeare Festival. He has written and directed both live-action and stop-motion short films à la Tim Burton.
Chris Loprete
MR. HALLOWAY
Recently Chris traipsed around The MAIN stage in 1984, The Real Housewives of Troy, and On Golden Pond, some time ago in Jesus Christ Superstar and The Nerd, and on other stages across the country for over 30 years. Chris thanks Nancy for her continuing faith in him. Ray Bradbury wrote a wonderful story about what we do with the time we’re given and how a smile can change lives. Chris would like to thank his wife, Ally, for the 26 years she’s given him. Her smile continues to change his life.

Shanan Harrell
DUST WITCH
Shanan is chillingly grateful to be a part of this spooktacular production! When not terrifying audiences, Shanan is a mindfulness meditation teacher. After decades in the theatre, she admits that her favorite role of all time is playing Boop to her four-year old grandson, Miles. (And thanks, dear Patron, for supporting indie live theatre!)
Joya Beebe
MISS FOLEY/BEARDED LADY
Let’s see. “Who am I…” <-well, clearly a musical theater (American genre, so spelling) nerd… As I say in this show, “I’m an old fish.” Yet more, an odd fish. SF-born to hippie-ishes. Marketing writer, social media addict, yet love comparative religion, fantasy. Manic pixie dream girl gone to seed. 35 years in greater L.A., 20+ here in Awesometown, most as dilettante stagemom to ‘21&’23 ESCAPE+Saugus alums. Now empty nest with flying-nun-eared shepherd & animator husband.
Arthur Trowbridge
TOM FURY/CRAZY CLOWN
Arthur returns to the stage after 30 years, bringing with him a wealth of experience in film, television, and theatre. Studied at the NY American Academy of Dramatic Arts, appeared in The Young and the Restless, Bold and the Beautiful, and Lifetime’s Honor Thy Father and Mother: The Menendez Brothers Story. He has performed in numerous productions and independent films. He is thrilled to return to live theatre, collaborating for this exciting production.

Jackson has worked on many shows since starting theatre in 2011, most recently playing Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof with the SCRT and Odysseus in The Odyssey at COC. He would like to thank his friends and family for their constant support, especially his mother Margo, and director Nancy Lantis for this wonderful opportunity.

Movie/television credits on IMDB.
Adam Kort
TETLEY/STRONG MAN
Adam is excited to be involved in another Eclipse Theatre LA production, having stage managed The Gingerbread Lady in 2019. Adam is no stranger to the stage, having been in a plethora of musicals including, but not limited to, Parade, Elf, Fiddler on The Roof, Into The Woods, Guys and Dolls, and Little Shop of Horrors. He would like to thank his incredible boyfriend, Cristian, and his loving family for their endless support.
Luke Maciejewski
SKELETON
Luke is happy to be in his first production with Eclipse Theatre LA. He has done shows at Canyon Theatre Guild and CSUB before this. In his free time he enjoys playing guitar, song writing, spending too much mental energy on trading cards games, and being sightly more skeletal than the average guy.
Sean Doyle
OFFICER DOYLE
Sean discovered a love for theatre while in college. Having recently graduated, he’s excited to explore opportunities to act outside of his university theatre program. Sean was born in Hawaii and has traveled with his military family, but had never set foot in Los Angeles until he was 19 years old. As someone who loves classic literature, Sean is happy to be part of this adaptation of the Ray Bradbury novel.

Jeni Seidler-Wilson
MRS. NIGHTSHADE/SERPENTINA
Jeni Seidler Wilson is very happy to be joining the cast of Something Wicked. She has most recently appeared on the MAIN’s stage in The Real Housewives of Troy and Monk Business. She wants to thank her husband, Doug, and her four kids Camron, Camille, Bex, and Amy for always being her rocks. And, of course, thanks Liam.

ROBERT/LITTLE GENERAL
Oliver is a JRR Tolkien aficionado and a prolific Lego builder. He is also a kind and loving brother and son. Past stage credits include Fiddler on the Roof, The Book Women, and Pirates of Penzance. He is delighted to help create the creepy ambiance of this show alongside his amazing castmates and would like to thank everyone at Eclipse for nurturing his artistic soul.
Aleah Maul
GIRL/LITTLE BELLE
This eight-year old loves to act, sing, and entertain! She’s thrilled to be in this spooky tale from Ray Bradbury and work at with such a professional and “grown-up” cast and director! Aleah has performed with Broadway Bound Players in: The Little Mermaid, Frozen, and most recently played Duffy in Annie. She was the lead in the student short film “To Dream Or Not To Dream,” and frequently makes appearances in her brother’s short horror flicks.
Sally Lantis
MILLIE
A long-time theatre baby, Sally first appeared in Canyon Theatre Guild’s The Curious Savage as a doll come to life, and has since been seen in Hope Theatre Art’s The Book Women, Off Book Theatre Co’s Theatre in a Week and ETLA’s The Sandman. Involved in choir and drama at school, Sally also lends her talent behind the scenes as crew for….oh, so many shows! And full disclosure…she’s never been to the circus!
Rebecca Clark
LILLIE
Says Rebecca: “I would say I have a pretty good grip on my theater boots. From orphan, to a hyena, to a ghost and then maid, it’s safe to say I’ve been here a bit, I’ve worked with some amazing and wonderful theater companies and directors. As well as doing acting, I’ve hand my hands in stage crew and as well as SFX makeup for a few productions, I can move furniture or make you look like you got into a riff or both. But it’s definitely easy to say I’m ready for this production!”
